Modal Delay and Bandwidth Measurements of Bi-Modal Fibers Facilitated by Analytical Transfer Function Model

We propose a simple and robust method for measuring fiber modal delay and bandwidth of bi-modal optical fibers using frequency domain method. An analytical transfer function model was formulated with excellent agreement with experimental results.
