An original experimental technique for the implementation of AM/AM digital pre-distortion using FPGA electronic architecture

For certain applications the nonlinearity of the devices are very undesirable due to the generation of high level of intermodulation. Usually, they occur in many electronic equipment for telecommunication systems, and in our specific case they are present in the transmission of digital TV signals, where we have a total dependence of the radio frequency (RF) power amplifiers. The nonlinear performance must to impose previous studies of the devices as well as on the circuits that realize the linearization. The essential purpose of this paper is to show an efficient way to implement a prototype that can serve for the modern digital transmission systems. With the resources of numerical methods combined with the pre-distortion theoretical techniques, the device presented here permits to linearize with an efficient way the stimulus signals.
