The problem of simultaneously estimating the Direction of Arrival(DOA) and frequencies of multiple signals arriving at an antenna array is considered.The paper supplies a computationally simple joint DOA-frequency estimation method based on SOBI(Second-order Blind Identification).Based on statistical properties of sources,the proposed method eliminates the correlation effect of different sources assuming that the temporal-correlation length of sources is limited.A new matrix combining of multiple pseudo-covariance of sources with different time delay is constructed.According to the time-invariant property of the new matrix,the frequency estimation can be obtained by ESPRIT,and then the DOAs are obtained using 1-D searches.Finally,the simulation results show that the proposed method is superior in estimating the DOA and offers good estimation performance of the frequencies.
