Development a Competency-Based Training Program for Elementary Robotics Teachers by using the DACUM Chart

In order to strengthen the competency of the robotics teacher in charge of the robot education, it is essential understanding of the ability to be related to the duties required for the robotics teacher. In this study, by analyzing the results of the robotics teachers for elementary education job analysis conducted using DACUM method, it is an object to develop the training program of the robotics teacher. Thus the purpose of this study is to show way to develop a training program of the robotics teachers for elementary education by the DACUM method. And also this study is meaningful because it presents robotics teachers’s key tasks, in order to suggest ways for developing a training program. Through analyzing the DACUM chart, this study shows a key tasks 5.0 or higher. In addition, to perform the extracted key tasks are verified through knowledge, skill and the tool. This training program can develop for elementary teachers by K-S-T element analysis to complete ‘course profile’
