Method for electronic file metadata expansion

The invention relates to the technical field of computer information management, in particular to a method for metadata expansion. The method for the electronic file metadata expansion comprises the following steps: (1) providing a metadata definition module used for a user to define an electronic file metadata entity, metadata properties and verification rules corresponding to the metadata properties and bind the electronic file metadata entity, the metadata properties and the verification rules corresponding to the metadata properties, (2) providing a metadata interface design module used for defining a foreground display list bond with the electronic file metadata entity, adding list assemblies on the list, and binding the metadata properties with the assemblies, (3) providing a metadata maintenance module which can display different metadata entity data and metadata interfaces through a uniform interface according to different types of electronic files, and uniformly maintain metadata information of different entities. The method for the metadata expansion is a mode enabling a user to define a metadata structure, maintain metadata and display metadata by himself without participation of developing staff, and can achieve the functions of data self definition and interface self definition.
