Formalidad e informalidad en el proceso de aprender a enseñar Formality and informality in the learning-to-teach process

In Spain, pre-service training of Secondary School teachers has been a problem not yet solved. Since the implementation of the course to obtain the Pedagogical Attitude Certificate in the 70s to the recent Act of 29 December, 2007, which regulates the Master of Secondary Education, the Spanish training model has not changed at all. Research, studies and opinions of different groups involved have proved to be in disagreement with the organization and management of the pre-service training of Secondary School teachers. This type of training implies, first of all, following undergraduate studies (in the future called Grade) which in some cases last five years. Then, teachers to be have to follow a minimum psycho-pedagogical and practical training with little chances to acquire suitable pedagogical competences for Secondary School teaching. The underlying model, which unfortunately continues to exist, is based on the fact that «to teach is enough to know
