All-optical ultra-wideband doublet generation and non-degraded transmission over optical fiber

We demonstrate all-optical ultra-wideband doublet pulse generation by single SOA and 1km SMF. The doublet pulses are transmitted over 5km SMF by dispersion compensation without degradation. The pulse shape modulation is also shown.
