Characteristics of Critical Current of HTS Tape Compared With De-Noising Model

The critical current is one of the key parameters of the high temperature superconducting (HTS) tape, and it determines the performance of the superconducting applications. An YBCO tape without magnetic substrate was tested in this paper to investigate the transient responses under different situations. We performed charging test and de-noising research under different DC current ramp rate (R-value). The influence of noise on the critical current is analyzed experimentally. Finally, the results of experiment, de-noising model and PL model are compared and explain how noise influence the V-I curve of the YBCO tape.
