Investigation of 63kV high voltage vacuum circuit breaker of single phase bipolar used on railway

The vacuum circuit breaker is used in substations with AT power supply traction, which has advantage properties of frequent operation, maintenance free, long life and low cost of domestic vacuum extinction chamber. The design and manufacture of the switch is autonomous, which passed all type tests firstly with this voltage level for domestic. The parameters of the switch are as follow: rate current of 2500 A, rated short circuit breaking current of 31.5 kA and power life of 30 times.
