Vibration control was implemented on a flexible cantilever beam with piezoelectric sensor and actuator.The controller was designed by using μ control theory.The design process was described in detail,including the parameter errors of the model,the uncertainty weight functions and the performance weight functions.Simulations were carried out to made comparison between closed system and open system.And the robust stability of the closed system was also validated when the parameters of model are disturbed.The results verify that the μ control theory is effective on structural vibration control.
