EMAT ULTRASONIC REFLECTION TOMOGRAPHY

A means for reconstructing images from non-contact ultrasonic transducers is presented using separate source and receiver locations. The method has been investigated using artificial defects in aluminum blocks, using shear wave EMAT transducers. Images resulting from this technique are presented, and some of the applications discussed.
