Object Manipulation by Virtual Menu Interaction Using Free-Hand Input in a Desktop Virtual Reality Maritime Situation Display

Marine situation displays or digital sea charts are an essential tool and the basis for marine safety and security applications and define the core element for providing human operators with situational awareness while performing surveillance tasks and to support them in anticipating dangerous situations.
