Planern und Entwicklern von Produktionsassistenzsystemen bei der Entwicklung und Evaluation von tMMS.AbstractAs a result of the fourth industrial revolution and the increasing networking of machines and humans new human-machine interfaces (HMI), i. e. mobile Production-Assistance-Systems, arise. The design of highly utilizable and user-accepted mobile HMI needs an intersubjective approach. This article describes the development of such a guideline for the design of usable tangible HMI (tHMI), based on Design Science Research (DSR) and using the methods of Usability Engineering. The conceptual proceeding further provides hints for science and practical applications with the goal of designing utilizable tHMI and also gives an outlook regarding further research questions. Practical Relevance This article presents the design of highly utilizable human-machine interfaces for mobile applications within the frame of the internet of things. The methodically structured approach primarilly assists planners and developers of Production Assistance Systems in the design as well as evaluation of tHMI.
