철도차량의 단열 성능 향상방안 연구

Heat insulation of railway cabin is getting more important due to the recent drastic rise in the energy cost. Since better heat insulation performance can save the cooling or heating energy, heat insulation is gaining wide attention nowadays. There are several ways to obtain better heat insulation performance, but their effects have not been quantitatively measured. Furthermore, there have been several studies dealing about the materials for railway cabin, but there have not been any related study about the heat insulation for the complete railway cabin. Because railway cabin is comprised of more than 30,000 parts, it is not easy to obtain exact heat insulation performance with the heat transfer values of each component. And, it is almost impossible to calculate how each component contribute to the total heat insulation of railway cabin. In this study, several changes were made to obtain the heat insulation performance with a real railway cabin in a climatic chamber. The effects of each factor were quantitatively studied.
