Conceptual Design Model of iCAL4LA: A Review and Critical Analysis of Computer Assisted Learning Concept in Determining the Core Segments and Their Components

This paper discusses about an on-going research that proposes a Conceptual Design Model of Interactive Computer Assisted Learning for Low Achieving children. The main intention of this paper is to determine the core segments of the conceptual model that is specifically designed to suffice the learning requirement for LA children. The determination of the core segments is conducted based on the review of interactive computer assisted learning. Meanwhile, critical analysis of 10 previous studies has been carried out to map the initial components with core segments. Results of those activities revealed five core segments with their initial components in proposing the model.
