A reversible data hiding scheme based on dual steganographic images

This paper proposes a novel data hiding scheme for grayscale images with high embedding capacity and low image distortion, able to provide the desired security and full reversibility. The embedding capacity of proposed scheme is about 0.75 bpp providing high visual steganographic image quality. The experimental PSNR values are very high (up to 52.3 dB); therefore, the steganographic image is not only perceptually indistinguishable from the carrier but can also resist the increasingly sophisticated steganalytic techniques. Moreover, without two steganographic images obtained simultaneously, it is impossible for attackers to retrieve the complete secret message.
