Novel Event-triggered Control for Networked Control Systems with Transmission Delay

In this paper, a novel event-triggered scheme resorting to a queue buffer is proposed for a class of networked control systems. Compared with some existing schemes, our scheme can save more communication and computation resource together with better control performance and reduce the conservativeness of the results. To match the novel scheme, a state feedback controller is also designed. Based on a Lyapunov functional method, criteria for the stability and the co-design of both the feedback gains and the trigger parameters are derived. Finally, a simulation example is proposed to illustrate the effectiveness of the developed method.
