Trap Distribution and Partial Discharge Behaviors of Polypropylene Considering HTS Insulation

The trap distribution of polypropylene (PP) film under diverse voltages at room temperature (20 °C) was discussed in the paper. It mainly researched the trap distribution of the pure PP films. The voltages used in PP films are 4 kV, 5 kV and 6kV, whose voltages lasted the same time. What’s more, the partial discharge initial voltage (PDIV) of PP films at room temperature and in LN2 was got during the experiment. And the diagrams of phase resolved partial discharge (PRPD) was obtained by a specialized equipment (PONOVO PAP-300).
