The present invention provides an information transmitting method of an auxiliary synchronous channel and a small area searching method applied in an LTE system. An E-NodeB generates a binary system sequence of the auxiliary information necessary for the small area searching which is required to be transmitted on the small area S-SCH. The binary system sequence is executed with channel coding andmodulating for generating an auxiliary synchronous code SSC. According to the frequency division multiplexing S-SCH subcarrier mapping pattern of the small area, the generated SSC symbol is mapped onthe corresponding subcarrier. Afterwards through the modulation of the orthogonal frequency division multiplexing OFDM, the auxiliary synchronizing signal is obtained and is transmitted on the frequency division multiplexing S-SCH. A terminal searches on the network and executes a relativity test to three PSCs transmitted on P-SCH and obtains the PSC of the target small area. Furthermore the mapping pattern of the SSC subcarrier of the target small area is obtained. The channel estimation of S-SCH test is executed with the PSC. The auxiliary information required for the searching of the smallarea is obtained after demodulating and decoding. The invention can increase the capability of the small area searching.
