Sealing gap for protection at graded insulated 110 kV transformer neutrals

In order to solve the problems of dispersion of discharge,easily affected by atmospheric conditions for outdoor 110 kV transformer neutral point,a seal gap is developed.According to technical conditions,contact were selected;the proposed gap value is 88 mm.Discharge tests are carried out with seal gap.The results show that the technical parameters of seal gap meet the technical conditions and match with the arrester.The device can be both locally and remotely controlled;and the test operation showed the effect was obvious.
