Ultra-wide and Ultra-High Detection Technology of Mine Vehicle Based on Laser Measurement System

In order to solve the hidden safety problems of ultra-wide and ultra-high transportation in the practical application of mining vehicles, a real-time detection system for vehicle width and height based on laser measurement system was designed and developed. Under the control of a new high-performance microprocessor, a high speed and accurate scan of the external contour of the vehicle using a laser sensor is carried out. At the same time, the real-time analysis and processing of the received data is carried out to detect the height and width of the vehicle. A sound and light alarm can also be made to the violation. The experimental tests show that the detection system has high measurement accuracy, stable and reliable operation, and performance indicators can basically meet the real-time detection requirements for the width and height of mining vehicles.
