Study of networked control systems based on implicit generalized predictive control algorithm1

Conventional control algorithm cannot deal with packet loss in networked control systems (NCS).To solve this problem, the implicit generalized predictive self-tuning control algorithm is applied. It avoids solving Diophantine equation on-line. The parameters of optimal control law are directly identified by the characteristic of the parallel predictors. Furthermore, a networked control systems based on TrueTime toolbox is constructed. The results of simulations and experiments show that satisfactory robustness and adaptation is ensured by this algorithm to packet loss.
