D3.3.1 Data-driven Change Discovery

EU-IST Integrated Project (IP) IST-2003-506826 SEKT Deliverable D3.3.1 (WP3.3) In this deliverable we present work performed in the task 'T3.3 Data-driven Change Discovery'. Text2Onto is a framework for data-driven change discovery by incremental ontology learning. It uses natural language processing and text mining techniques in order to extract an ontology from text and provides support for the adaptation of the ontology over time as documents are added or removed. Explicit modeling of all kinds of changes and an explanation component guarantee maximum transparency and traceability of the ontology learning process.
