Tracking Threshold Analysis of a Kind of FLL Based on Kalman Filter

In this paper, the tracking threshold of a kind of FLL based on kalman filter related to integral time are discussed. The analyse and simulation result indicates that integral time can not be too long for the sake of reducing the tracking threshold. Shorter integral time can produce wider pulling in frequency range when entering tracking state from acquisition process, so it can reduce the required precision of the Doppler frequency’s estimate in acquisition.
