A new method for astronautically phased mission system reliability assessment based on multi-source data fusion

This paper proposes a new method for Astronautically Phased Mission System (APMS) reliability assessment based on Multi-source data fusion. Traditional methods for APMS reliability assessment have two problems. One is lack of overall consideration of the different product hierarchies, different development stages, and different stress conditions data. The other is too difficult to give the reliability assessment results for the different end states of APMS. To solve these problems, this new method is shown in this paper. This method consists of three steps. First, the Multi-source data fusion layers will be confirmed and to be used for the data collection; Second, the data handling methods will be proposed based on the fusion layers; At last, APMS reliability will be assessed and the system end states probability distribution will be given. Through this method, APMS multi-source data will be fully used, and APMS reliability analyst can get more precise results, which will be fed back to the system designers to improve the system performance.
