Education for an information age : teaching in the computerized classroom

This text looks at the use of computers in the classroom. It is designed to help present and student teachers become computer literate and to integrate the computer into the classroom. The philosophical, historical and social context for understanding the role computers play in education is discussed. Case studies relate the material to everyday life and a Microsoft Works Tutorial is also included.
