CV 흑연 주철 제동디스크 개발 및 마찰ㆍ마모 특성 평가

Thermal cracks are among the key factors that determine the quality of a brake disk. Thermal cracks may shorten the lifetime of discs and increase brake noise. Therefore, high heat-resistant brake disk materials have been developed. In this study, three kinds of new disk material were developed and tested. Graphite forms are compact vermicular. For the three materials, tensile tests, hardness measurement, metallurgical structure analysis, measurement of thermal properties, etc were carried out. And friction tests were performed by a life-size brake dynamometer. It is found that the developed discs have good tribological characteristics.
