Production of glassware is a unbroken mass production, which is characterized by a variety a technological parameters, this is both controlled and not controlled parameters. This creates certain difficulties in elaboration of an automated control system for the technological process production of glassware, as a united system, which includes all basic and auxiliary equipment manufacturing for the production of glassware. The article considers the main issues related to the elaboration of the optimal structure of the automated process control system of glassware production, including meth-ods for evaluating the effectiveness of automated process control systems, which are based on a calculation of the comparative effectiveness. The proposed three-tier system of production control of glassware is based on block-hierarchical approach in combination with functional-structural modeling, describes the structural scheme of this auto-mated system.
