Design and Implementation of Printed Multi-frequency Slot Antenna

A printed slot antenna which can work at four frequency bands at the same time is designed.Such antenna is achieved by adding a horizontal slot on a triangular radiating unit,and the feeding part is a co-planar waveguide structure.The surface current on the antenna is analyzed through the CST Microwave Studio software,and the influence of the slot structural parameters on the pass band of the antenna is achieved.Then the designed multi-frequency antenna which can work at four frequencies(1.8/2.4/3.5/5.2 GHz) is manufactured and tested in the microwave anechoic chamber.The simulation and measurement results show that such antenna can work at four frequency bands and has omni-directional radiation characteristic on the H plane in the working frequency bands.The size of such antenna is 44 mm×48 mm and follows single-side printing form.Besides,it has characteristics of miniaturization,low cost and easy fabrication.And it can be widely applied to the wireless terminals of the mobile communication system.
