Home media center

A home media center is provided to digitalize analog contents of analog home appliances, to store digital contents of digital home appliances in a space, and to use the stored contents freely inside and outside the house. A home media center comprises a streamer(120), a digital audio/video streamer(130), a media hub(140), a raid network storage server(150), and a network hub(160). The streamer(120) receives analog audio/video signals, provided from internal and external tuners, converts them into digital signals, and outputs parallel streams in real time. The digital audio/video streamer(130) receives transport streams, provided from the tuners, and the parallel streams, and converts them into USB(Universal Serial Bus) signals. The media hub(140) schedules respectively different digital media information transmitted from the digital audio/video streamer(130), and transmits it through a USB line. The raid network storage server(150) stores the digital media streams transmitted from the media hub(140) in its internal hard disk. If a media forwarding request is made through an ethernet on the web or by an internal media player, the raid network storage server(150) streams and outputs media information stored in the hard disk. The network hub(160) transmits streaming data, outputted from the raid network storage server(150), to the web or an internal media device.
