도시 상업건축물을 위한 입면 색채 계획 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구

As concerns to improve the urban streetscape rise, various studies on the color design of urban facades are now taking place. Most color design practices are, however, constructed from an expert's perspective, thus poorly incorporating residents' own ideas regarding color design. In order to boost the participation of residents in this process, our study first extracts color concepts from the facades of urban commercial buildings and then develops diverse color palettes pertinent to each concept. Secondly, these various color palettes are then compiled as a database in order to propose a color simulation system for facades. In this regard, we propose a set of processes and tools for computer-based color design and simulation while developing a realtime facade modeler and a PC/CAVE-based streetscape simulator to apply color design on real facades after using the color simulation.
