SOC-driven design methodology for full custom high performance mixed-signal designs

A very flexible design approach for mixed-signal circuits has been developed. This system-on-chip driven design methodology (SDM) is focused on meeting the demands of full custom mixed-signal macros and time-to-market for future SOC implementations in deep submicron processes. Important features are the support of parameterizability and the decoupling of process information forming real reusable macros for a high number of applications, independent of process selection. This paper gives an overview of concept, experience, and first macro implementations.
