Application of new technologies for fully integrated robotized automobile engine production

Abstract This paper describes some advanced aspects of automobile engine production, from design to components (cylinder block, cylinder head, etc.) production, assembly and testing. The data were collected from the new Fiat plant in Termoli, where operation recently began.
