Discussion on Defense Theory of Group Events for getting Ball Possession

Based on basic rule of group events,this paper put forwarded the defense theory of get ball possession.Through using the method of literature,video analysis and mathematical statistics,the author put forwarded new principle from the point of ball possession concept,for example,face to face defense in basketball match.When defense players with ball,the core of defense was getting ball and attack player's technical characteristics.When defense players without ball,defensive players should pay attention to ball and attack players at the same time.According to basic analysis,this paper summarized concrete method of getting ball and provided a kind of new concept for defensive training.
