Dimensionality Reduction Using PCA Algorithm for Improving Accuracy in Prediction of Cardiac Ailments in Diabetic Patients

The data gathered from the health organizations is very hefty and complex due to which it is challenging to analyze the data with the purpose of making an important decision regarding patient health. Diabetes is a major health challenge among different medical disease all over the world. The predominance of diabetes is accumulative at a fast pace, weakening human, financial and societal stuff. Henceforth, it is an emerging research area. Machine learning classification algorithm can be applied to predict the cardiac ailments in diabetic patients. In this paper, we have proposed the use of principal component analysis (PCA) for dimensionality reduction before passing medical data to machine learning classifier. Further, we have used MATLAB.
