Robust H/sub /spl infin//control and quadratic stabilization of uncertain switched linear systems

We focus on the robust H/sub /spl infin//control analysis and synthesis for uncertain switched linear systems. It is shown that the quadratic stability of one associated non-switched uncertain combination linear system implies the feasibility of H/sub /spl infin// control problem for an uncertain switched linear system. Then, the robust H/sub /spl infin// control synthesis via switched state feedback is studied. A switched state feedback controller is designed to quadratically stabilize the plant and achieve a prescribed disturbance attenuation level /spl gamma/ for all admissible uncertainties simultaneously. All the results in this paper can be regarded as an extension of some existing results for both switched and non-switched systems.
