A BIOLOGICAL MOTIVATED SYSTEM TO TRACK MOVING OBJECTS BY ACTIVE CAMERA CONTROL

A system to stabilize the image of moving objects by active control of camera movements in real-time is presented. The described algorithm is to a large extent motivated by the biological model of pursuit eye movement. The system owes its high level of performance at low computational cost to the adoption of neural structural principles.
