Toward the derivation of three-dimensional descriptions from image sequences for nonconvex moving objects

L. Dreschler and H.-H. Nagel [Comput. Graphics Image Process. 20, 1982, 199–228] describe a system which derives convex polyhedral object descriptions of moving rigid objects from monocular image sequences. Here, we describe techniques to improve the object description by incorporation of surface concavities and surface markings. Results from three street scenes are presented.
