Real-Time Crowd Control using Fuzzy Steering Behavior

Recently, it has become important to control massive agents in games and graphics. There are some problems in controlling massive agents. The more agents are, the longer it takes to control. There have been researches of massive agents either on the number or on the behaviors of the agents. But there has been rare research to improve both the number and the behavior of massive agents at the same time. So we solve this problem by using fuzzy logic, finite state machines and artificial intelligence - level of detail (AI-LOD).
