Tophaceous Gout with Atypical Localization without Hyperuricemia or an Inflammatory Gout Attack

©2013 Turkish League Against Rheumatism. All rights reserved. Tipik olarak tekrarlayan akut ataklardan sonra gelisen gut tofusu, tum gut olgularinin %10’unda gorulur. Gut oncelikle erkek hastaligi olarak bilinmesine ragmen, hastalarin %5’inde kadinlari etkiler ve bunlarin buyuk cogunlugu ilk atak sirasinda postmenopozal donemdedir. Gut tofusu, kadinlarda siklikla poliartikulerdir. Inflamatuar eklem hastaligi olmaksizin yumusak doku kitlesi olarak gorulen soliter tofus, neoplastik durumlarla karistirilabilir. Bu yazida, hiperurisemi veya akut enflamatuvar gut atagi olmaksizin atipik yerlesimli gut tofusu olan 30 yasinda bir kadin olgu sunuldu.
