Light-weight IoT Gateway with Embedded Web Server

A lightweight IoT gateway, applied to industrial IoT, for embedded web server was proposed in this study. STM32F407 of integrated MAC controller with low power consumption was taken as embedded processor and UCOSIII as software operating system. Network transmission was realized by transplanting LWIP protocol stack, the embedded web server was configured with a gateway, transmission encryption was implemented using the improved elliptic curve encryption algorithm, and the user-defined communication protocol was applied to gateway and background server communication. Through a performance test of the gateway, packet loss rate of the gateway was obtained as 0.08% and network delay was shorter than 10 ms. Therefore, the gateway is of reliable data transmission, stable performance, simple configuration & deployment and high application value.
