AbstractThe Teaching and Learning Collaborative (TLC) in Technology described herein responded to a call from a high school district superintendent who had technology in place, but needed a college to assist with curriculum development. TLC in Technology’s purposes are twofold: to prepare preservice teachers to incorporate technology into classroom lesson plans; and to support inservice teachers’ professional development with technology. The project contained three ongoing experiences and four one-day experiences. The ongoing experiences included: a professional development course; seminar sessions; and e-mail communication. The one-day experiences included: an orientation session; a training session; a midyear workshop; and a post-assessment session. The findings indicate that participants reported increased levels of proficiency with technology and responded favorably to most of the project’s components.
