The design of digital video system based on USB 2.0

This paper shows the design of digital image acquisition system based on USB2.0 and CMOS image sensor OV7660.It introduces the design idea and structure of hardware circuit.The firmware program used to control capturing process,initializing registers inside OV7660 and the consistence of reading and writing is analyzed in detail.In addition,the software converting the acquired data to image and displaying it in PC in real time is also the descriptive emphasis.Experiment results show that the software and hardware work naturally.The control circuit can do image acquisition in real time,and show image to PC in high quality.
