A SURVEY OF MICROELECTROMAGNETIC VIBRATION ENERGY HARVESTERS

With the fast developments of low power wireless sensor networks and microelectromechanical system, energy supply is becoming a big barrier to their applications in engineering. Now a solution is to use microelectromagnetic vibration energy harvesters. The principle, physical model and design rule of electromagnetic vibration energy harvesters are presented. Geometric model, structural parameters, output results and technical characteristics of various electromagnetic vibration energy harvesters are analyzed. Finally, the difficulty and the challenge faced by us to develop electromagnetic vibration energy harvesters are discussed, and the development trend is pointed out.
