Influence of Chromium Substitution on Structural and Magnetic Properties of BaFe12O19 Powder Prepared by Sol—Gel Auto Combustion Method.

BaFe12-xCrxO19 (x = 0.00, 0.25, 0.50, 0.75, 1.00) compounds are synthesized from aqueous solutions of Ba(NO3)2, Fe(NO3)3, Cr(NO3)3, and citric acid by a sol—gel auto combustion technique, followed by sintering at 900 °C for 8 h.
