Investigation into the computational modelling of diesel engine side injection systems

A technique for computational modelling of diesel engine side injection systems is presented. To validate the modelling strategy its results are compared with the measurements of other authors. Comparison with experimental predictions show that fairly useful results can be obtained by the modelling approach described here.
