Pharaonic ankh-key millimeter wave broadband antenna design and fabrication for 5G applications

A new design of millimeter-wave antenna is proposed to work on the 60.5–72 GHz frequency band with more than 11 GHz bandwidth. A low cost, single layer and easily fabricated design is achieved with a peak gain of 8.4 dBi. The simulated and measured results showed satisfying parameters enhancing this design to be used at millimetre wave frequencies for short-range wireless communication applications, such as 5G applications and V-band applications.
