Research and Application of Electrode Impedance Controller for Electric Arc Furnace

Contraposing the characters of arc furnace non-linear,large-lag,strong coupling,time-varying,working environment and random interference,the constant-impedance control strategy and neural networks adjust were adopted to the controller,which realizes automatically and accurately control for electrode raise and lower.The controller was applied to automatic control system for high impedance arc furnace which adopts SIMELT AC system of Siemens.Therefore,it reduces the short-circuit,arc-broken,shaking of electrode and can be ensure efficiently and safely work for casting production equipment.
