Reply to “Comments on a New Channel–Base Current Function for Lightning Studies”

A correspondence has been published to comment on the recently published paper “A new channel-base current function for lightning studies” by the authors. The correspondence contains a number of criticisms to the solutions presented in that paper. In this paper, we provide our replies to the raised criticisms.
