Acute GVHD, BK virus hemorrhagic cystitis and age are risk factors for transplant-associated thrombotic microangiopathy in adults

Key Points Clinically actionable thrombotic microangiopathy (CA-TMA) occurring in the absence of aGVHD occurs earlier than day 100. aGVHD is a key and consistent risk factor for late-onset CA-TMA.
